Three of the International Olympic Committee's top 15 sponsors -- Toyota, Panasonic and Bridgestone -- said they are terminating their contracts after the Paris Games.

Japanese tire maker Bridgestone said on Tuesday it would not renew its worldwide partnership agreements with the Olympics and Paralympics when they expire this year. That follows announcements in September from Toyota Motor and Panasonic Holdings that they would stop being top sponsors for the Games.

Tyre giant Bridgestone has become the latest Japanese firm to end its Olympics and Paralympics sponsorship, following pullouts by Toyota and Panasonic, saying it wants to focus on motorsport. Japanese electronics giant Panasonic and auto titan Toyota said last month they had also decided to end their Olympics partnerships.
