Shelby County Mayor Lee Harris is calling for the Shelby County Commission to halt Edmund Ford Jr.‘s involvement in the grant-making process.

The Shelby County Mayor released a statement requesting a pause on Ford Jr.'s grant making ability following his federal indictment.

He also said he wants to meet with attorneys and other elected officials to see if further steps need to be taken.
