BMW confirmed the iX3 electric SUV will be the first of the "Neue Klasse" models to launch. The iX3 is scheduled to arrive late this year, and an electric 3-series sedan will follow in 2026.

I should note that of the two, only the iX3 has gotten that name officially so far, but we're pretty confident the sedan will follow the same convention. And now we know when we'll see it for real.
