The Colts brought in veteran quarterback Daniel Jones in the offseason to compete with Richardson, and he will get an opportunity to develop some rapport with his new teammates at minicamp. If Richardson is unable to go early in training camp, that could be an excellent opportunity for Jones to claim that role.

According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, Indianapolis Colts incumbent starting quarterback Anthony Richardson ‘fully expects to be ready to go’ for the team’s training camp. The soon-to-be 3rd-year quarterback recently experienced inflammation in his surgically repaired right throwing shoulder and has been shut down for the team’s minicamp for rest:
