Ohio State football coach Ryan Day signed a landmark new extension that will keep him with the program through the 2031 season, and now we have more of an idea of what the Buckeyes will be paying him going forward.

Ryan Day said he hopes to finalize Ohio State’s 2025 coaching staff “in the next few days” and that he’s honored to receive a new seven-year contract from Ohio State.

Day will earn $12.5 million in annual compensation, making him college football’s second-highest-paid coach behind Georgia’s Kirby Smart.
