A South Carolina death row inmate has chosen to be executed by a firing squad next month rather than by lethal injection or the electric chair.

Brad Keith Sigmon is set to be executed by firing squad on March 7 for the 2001 beating deaths of his ex-girlfriend's parents, David and Gladys Larke.

Brad Sigmon chose bullets over lethal injection or the electric chair, "which would burn and cook him alive," his attorney said.
