SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) — Two sisters died Tuesday after getting into a car crash due to a non-functional traffic light. According to the Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office, the crash occurred after 2 p.m. at the intersection of SC 9 (Boiling Springs Road) and California Avenue.

A storm-related crash on Tuesday that happened at an intersection where the traffic lights were not working has killed two people, South Carolina Highway Patrol troopers said. Master Trooper Mitchell Ridgeway said the crash was reported just after 2 p.

SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – A person was killed early Wednesday morning while walking on a Spartanburg County road. According to the state highway patrol, at around 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, an unidentified pedestrian was walking in the roadway on S.C. 146 near I-26 when they were hit by a 2007 Freightliner tractor trailer.
