NASA on Friday confirmed that it has moved up the return of stranded astronauts Butch Wilmore and Sunita Williams to mid-March. Williams and Wilmore have been aboard the International Space Station (ISS) since September.

Originally scheduled for a short mission, astronauts Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore have been stranded in space for over eight months. They launched aboard Boeing’s new Starliner capsule last June for what was meant to be a one-week test flight. However, their return was delayed due to technical issues with the spacecraft.

Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore confirmed that the Crew-10 mission is scheduled to launch from Earth on March 12.
