Jan 1, 2015 · The 5'.7" is the newer odd size but I thought the 6'.4" and 8' has been a Ram industry standard size for a long time. I may find a cheap 2nd hand Leer cap just for camping. There always seem to be lots of used caps for sale in people's front lawn and I want to confirm the today's Ram 6'.4" box is the same as it was 10 years ago.

Dec 18, 2019 · The second thing was that the designers of the Ram gas tanks made a fill neck change that changed the curvature that had been in the older Dodge Rams & the top of the vent tube was moved slightly downwards, closer to the gas tank. Some owners were having issues with the gas nozzle getting caught in the fill tube, ( mostly at Costco )

Sep 17, 2013 · The 4.7L high output engine was produced from 2002 to 2007 and was rated at 265hp/330tq. The Wikipedia article linked above indicates that this engine was used in Dodge Ram trucks, however, this is where I believe that article is mistaken. I have yet to see any reference to a Ram equipped with the 4.7L HO engine anywhere else.

(I have owned - purchased new - the same Ram truck package in a 2012, 2014, and 2016, so this is my fourth Ram 1500 Big Horn 5.7L and first to do this - the 2020 is the first CAPLESS version I owned.) Started at 56,000 miles.
