LONDON (AP) — All five parties in Greenland’s parliament issued a joint statement on Friday rejecting President Donald Trump’s latest effort to take control of the strategic Arctic island. The statement was issued by the leaders of all five parties that won seats in parliament in an election held earlier this week.

In a rare show of unity, party leaders say they "cannot accept the repeated statements about the annexation of Greenland."
